Our research assistants work hard everyday to keep the lab running. As a thank you from the Language Learning Lab, this page show cases all of the graduates with their gown and tassels, along with quote on what they will miss or learned from our lab! We congratulate all of them and wish them the best with their future.

"I joined the Language Learning Lab during Fall 2018. Immediately, I felt very welcomed by everyone. I will miss interacting with parents and their infants!"
Danielle Bucks, class of 2020
Danielle joined our lab in 2019. She later got promoted to a lab managing position where she was responsible of creating schedules for all of the research assistants, running studies and meeting with our primary investigator weekly. Her hard work will always be appreciated.
Natalie Ho, class of 2020
"How lucky I am to be a part of a family full of incredibly intelligent, dedicated, and passionate students! Wrapping up my work with this lab was one of the most difficult things I had to do when I graduated from Davis. I am so grateful that this was my first experience with research; everything I have learned and accomplished in this lab could not have been possible without being inspired by Katie serving as an incredible role model for what it means to work tirelessly for the work one is passionate in, and for the supportive and wonderful lab mates I’ve been so lucky to meet. Thank you for these challenging and rewarding previous two years, Language Learning Lab!"
Carolyn Ta, class of 2020
"I learned so much about how language is learned and how infants go from babbling to speaking full sentences! I really loved interacting with different community members in the lab or at recruitment events and just sharing the great things we were learning in the lab! Also, I really enjoyed getting to know the other members of the lab and being able to work together with a great team of driven, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals! I will miss the lab so so much!"
